Old standard in need of some TLC in some places

Very narrow course with a good bit of water. Definitely need some trees taken out. I mean a tree right in front of the green? Really?

I was going to rate it a 4 but slept on it and change my mind. If you have to be in the sand, enjoy it! These 3 9's have the best Sandtrap's of any course we played in San Antonio. Sugar sand and plenty of it in every greenside bunker; and, there are plenty of them. For a fair... More

My husband and I played this course (Lakes & Oaks) over the weekend! Loved it!!!! Some of the holes were very challenging and the course is very well maintained - it's very lush and well tree'd. Teresa Sinor arrnged our tee time for us and was a joy to work with - thank you! Truly a golfing GEM in San... More

We stayed at Hilton, but golfed here at Hyatt. What an excellent choice for a day. 27 holes of marvelous and sometimes challenging golf and day outing! The course was in excellent shape so KUDOS to Supt. and staff. The service inside and out was top notch. We will return in fall/2016. Round played less than 4 hours too!

Haven't played here in some time but recall that it was a fairly good golf course. Range was adequate, somewhat small as balls could easily go onto holes 1 & 9 of the adjacent courses. Fairways were in great shape. Some tee boxes needed reworking (i.e., #2 on the lakes course was a complete turtleback where it was hard to... More

Fun course. Good service with lots of staff available. A bit pricey for greens fees and items in pro-shop. Interestingly, food service was reasonable - especially breakfast. Facility has driving range, nice carts with GPS. Course has 3 nines. Played Lakes and Creeks. Both were open and playable, allowed for shot making, but not overly penal. Maybe Oaks is tighter.... I really enjoyed this course. It is a true shot makers course requiring you to consider what club to use and what type of shot to hit. With that being said it was not a real tough course but offers enough of a challenge that you will enjoy your round. The staff was friendly and attentive. The marshal offered good... More

I play this course 2-3 times a year, usually in the Spring and Fall. I have always found the course in great condition. Due to price, it is usually not crowded, so pace of play is good; but get a booking through Golfnow.com to ease the pocketbook. Balls at the driving range are included. Also, since it is such a... All the reviews about the staff are spot on, well run and friendly, helpful staff. The course was in really good shape and we'll maintained but that should be expected for this type of course in April and May. It plays difficult and challenging, some fairways are narrow and expect not to find your ball if you don't keep it... More

Great Resort Course. Staff very friendly from start to finish. Course in excellent shape. You won't want to walk as it is a long way in between some of the holes.
