Visited the Tower of the Americas for a great view and awesome lunch at The Chart House in the revolving tower. Started with Coconut Shrimp (highly recommend) which came on an edible clam shell. Our entrees were fish and chips and cedar planked salmon. Both...More

My wife and I took the elevator to the top floor and circled the observation area. Really when you have seen the down town view there is much else to see. The rest of the view is just streets and a few trees. Also you...More

My wife was opposed to going here, I believe because she is bothered by heights. However, even she enjoyed the experience! There is a great view from the top. The fountains outside are beautiful! Plus, included with price of admission, you can watch a 4D...More

The tower is a great way to see the city. 12 bucks admission isn't too bad for the view. There is also a movie theater that is free. It's nice and cool inside as well.

Maybe the food has gotten better but I have never had a good meal there. The dessert is great. The rotation made my children feel like they were car sick. The view is the best ever. Go to see the view !

You can get a great view of the area if you go up to the observation deck. There are audio spots that fill you in on the history of Texas, too.

Wow that thing is high. Very good view of all San Antonio. The grounds are beautiful with lots of waterfalls all around.

Yes for reservations. All views are good. The inner seating is elevated and all seats face outward (no one sits with back to view). Give yourself plenty of time for the elevator. We waited quite a bit for it.

No. There is a snack bar, but very limited and very expensive. Go to Riverwalk for many dining options
