After living in Europe and touring many of the cathedrals, this holds its own with charm. It is an active parish so pay attention to Mass times. A side note is there is a Mexican cafe/restaurant associated with it not many know about.

A great spot to relax after a long walk on the San Antonio River Walk. Have a beer while watching the fountain and people walking around the plaza in front of the cathedral.

The light shows at the cathedral are Tuesdays , Fridays and Saturdays at 9:30 and 10:00 pm. A posada is something different. It is a parade that takes place during the Christmas holiday period.
