Visited this place several times, always love it! About 30 minutes outside San Antonio. Awesome natural underground caves. Always cool inside. Also damp. Make sure you wear good non slip tennis shoes, I've seen many people fall. Really cool to see. Informative your. Great for...More

We had Michael as our guide. Someone in the group was nice enough to interpret in Spanish so that may slowed us down. Well, it gave us more time to take pictures. It's still worth a visit.

No where on the scale of Carlsbad, but nevertheless it's breathtaking in its own right. It's only about an hour tour but considering the vincinity to San Antonio, If you have time to head north about 45 minutes, it's worth a stop...especially as there is...More

A great place to visit. I took the Discovery Tour and it was a worth the price if you've never been in a cave before. My kids were able to do this tour with out any issue. Its cool but humid so shorts could work...More

For the Discovery tour you pay $22. At first I was a bit hesitant, but thoroughly enjoyed seeing this natural beauty with the 70 min tour. Great for kids and family. Wear good shoes as it is slippery. There are stairs, incline, and a bit...More

For me this was the best part of our San Antonio trip. We did the discovery tour $22 with a humorous tour guide. Easy for children, but probably not good if you have trouble walking because there are stairs and a bit of an incline....More

I had a blast going under ground in the Texas area outside of San Antonio. I have always been amazed by underground caverns and the mysteries they hold for adventurers.

It is well worth a look! But please be aware it is very steep in some parts, it's fine when you're going down, but when you have to go up 18 floors it can get very hard, I don't think some of the people had...More

Compared to other caves that I've visited, the Natural Bridge Caverns aren't necessarily the largest, nor the most spectacular, but nevertheless they are worth a visit. Our guide was very informative and patient with the older people who needed a little more time the make...More

Interesting, feels like an adventure, with walking the caves - Zip lining outside :) This activity at the time I visited was for the "sure-footed". Areas wet, slippery - wear appropriate shoes (not flip flops), hold onto the handrail as needed. May have handicapped accessibility-...More

did the one tour, we asked the guide at the ticket and he said first time visitors take one tour and seems to be plenty and it was...Glad we didn't take the additional tour.
Can we do the self-guided tour, for example, just buy the entrance ticket? My parents are senior and don't speak English, not sure if they can follow and enjoy the tour.

No not from what I've seen when I was there. Your best bet is to call ahead of time and ask them if individually guided tours are allowed and what languages they have available for tours. There are some pretty steep areas... More

I would say no due to the physical demands of even the basic tour. I wouldn't want to risk a fall on the slick steep inclines, with or without a stroller. I wouldn't recommend taking a child that was younger than school age... More
