Awesome day!

We saved this jewel for the last day of a 4 day, 7 round golf trip. It was well worth the wait! The staff was friendly and helpful, from the bag guys to the grill wait staff. The... read more

There are a few holes with blind shots. It is nice that the cart tells you when it is clear to hit. There is a lot of up and down playing this course. The bunkers are basically a thin layer of dirt which is different.

The starter was very helpful in regards to sharing knowledge of the course. The course it's self was in tip top shape, the... More

Played here twice the week of March 27th, 2017. Great green fees, very good staff. Lots of room off the tee. You will need to know where to be on the green. You find out when you get to the green. Then it's game on. 3 putts very easily. Besides being fast, the greens are tough to read as well... More

Course is nice. But customer service today was terrible. We were quoted a rate ( military rate) over the phone and they did not honor. Told us not their problem, was our problem. Remind me again..."the customer is always...wrong?" Many nice courses in town with very friendly staff. Look elsewhere.

Very nice course in great condition. Fast, undulating greens and several blind tee shots make a short course play tougher than the yardage suggests. Back nine especially has some incredible views of the entirety of San Antonio and Texas Hill Country. Only drawback is driving range is only large enough to accommodate hitting irons.

I played two rounds at the Palmer Course and two rounds at the La Cantera course last week. I was amazed that the course was in such great shape for the middle of January. Greens were very consistent, fairways and tee boxes were excellent. I do not agree with a previous post about the sand in the traps. I played... More

This course is really worth playing for a decent recreational golfer 🏌. I would rate it as follows: View – 10 (I know, 5 is the top number but it was breathtaking) Tees - 4 (too many uneven lies but the conditions were excellent) Fairways – 5 (for winter play) Rough - 5 (for winter conditions) greens – 5 (plush... Played this early one morning in early December--had to wait a bit for the frost/fog delay but enjoyed the turkeys and deer which were on the course. The course was in awesome shape though it started to get a bit windy as the morning progressed. This made for a difficult round but I really didn't care much as it was... More

...well the best I have played. This is my favorite course in Texas, I have not played some of the Austin courses people brag on. The course is tough; the views are spectacular. If you play one course in San Antonio this should be the one.

The Palmer course was terrific. It was challenging, the holes were unique and varied, the course was in excellent condition. We'll play this course again when visiting San Antonio. We played on a Thursday at 11:00am and played in 3 1/2 hours.
