By appointment only! We strongly recommend booking at least 30 days in advance! Seriously!! San Antonio Western Shooting provides a safe, supervised fun Western Shooting Experience using real guns and real bullets. We provide instruction in the safe handling shooting of all guns. No experience necessary! You will have the opportunity to shoot reproductions of guns such as the Colt 1873 Peacemaker pistol in a western setting. When you get used to those guns we will have you shoot the double barreled shotgun. Shooters will shoot about 75 rounds and it will take about 3 hours, the cost is $130 per person. All of our shooting sessions are by appointment only! Sorry, no "fast draw" or "twirling" of guns is permitted. Absolutely no alcoholic beverages are permitted onsite. Guests may bring observers at no extra cost. See our website and Facebook page for more information. Unruly children will be sold to the Comanche.

What a great time! My wife and I had absolutely no experience with guns before going to San Antonio Western Shooting. Latigo Lee and the guys made us feel comfortable with the guns and right at home from the beginning. We were able to shoot pistols, rifles, and the big double barrel shotgun, all while laughing, and learning about the... More

This is my second visit-the first experience was so good I wanted to share it with a co-worker. Staff knowledge, personality, and professionalism made this a safe, uniquely memorable and enriching team building experience. A most outstanding value for the money and time spent- a one of a kind opportunity not to be missed in San Antonio.

Bill, Lee and the guys are awesome. Very safe environment and so fun to boot, no pun intended. The Western theme, history and story line makes for such a great experience. I had such an awesome experience with the Colt, that I'm now looking to add one to my arsenal. Thanks gents, we had a blast!

The San Antonio Western Shooting was a great experience. They did a great job with making everyone feel comfortable with the guns and explaining the history behind each gun and scene. My wife, who has minimal gun experience, felt safe and informed on how to use each gun. The Cowboys were very patient and friendly. The information shared on the... More

We booked our reservations last moment and the operators were able to fit us in on a weekend. The instruction, knowledge, and attention to the group were outstanding. All the shooting was closely monitored but Is not intrusive. This is not a stand and pull the trigger place. You will learn about the history of the gun and experience what... More

What an awesome experience, the instructors were incredible, knowledgeable and enjoyable. Not your normal gun range, quirky and fun (would highly recommend even if you have never shot a gun before) Way more than just about guns. An eye opening history lesson. (plus where else would you get a chance to shoot at an axe to try and slit a... More

Our group of 9 adults spent five days in San Antonio. As Canadians, we thought learning to shoot a gun would be a unique experience...and it was! We had a ball!! I can't recommend this enough. The cowboys and cowgirl in charge were fantastic. Clear instructions were given to ensure our safety. They were encouraging and had us go through... More

Unless you hate guns, this is the coolest thing ever. Not only do you get to shoot western revolvers and rifles, but you'll get a cowboy hat and holster and your hosts are also in authentic cowboy/ western attire. Outdoor target shooting is a lot of fun; much better than your normal shooting range. Speaking of which, the Western Shooting... More

Went with my husband during our stay in San Antonio. The staff were all really friendly and thorough in giving the safety advice and instructions. They really know what they're doing. We were split into small groups of 3/4 and there was two members of staff with each group so you always felt on good hands. You get to shoot... More
