As soon as you pull into the park, you're welcomed by all of the trees and greenery! I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the park is. I spent an hour walking the paved trails and there was still lots more to explore! This is a very well-maintained park, with a playground, clean bathrooms and picnic tables as well. There's... More

This is a really nice park. It is relatively flat so it is accessible to many. We like to hike the park and then take our dogs to the dog park onsite. They have one for larger and smaller dogs. There is also the extension of the Greenway trails here as well. We have explored some of that part of... More

I just love this park. It's for the most part clean and has great trails. The paths are clearly marked and if you wanted to bike/ run/ walk this place is great. They have bathrooms on site. Plenty of parking and including handicap parking. They have a kids play area. Dog parks for both little and large dogs. They offer... More

Several trails in a park surrounded by urban development. Trails are flat. We spotted a couple of deer on our walk. Joggers, walkers, strollers and dogs use the trails but it is not crowded.

There are a number of parks and walking trails in San Antonio but one of our treasures is Phil Hardberger Park, with entrances on Blance Rd or NW Military Dr. A large track of ranch land is divided into two large sections of hiking and biking trails. The park is open from 7:30am to sunset 7 days a week and... More

This park is the newest large family park in San Antonio. There are plenty of trails (paved) and it is very safe. It is also pet friendly and there is a dog park. Beware of the dog park.... keep an eye on your pet because there is no supervision as as a result.... sometimes big dogs or aggressive dogs tend... More

Many hiking trails of different levels. Hilly in a lot of parts. Bring water in the summer. Well kept and great way to get active.

This park is very centrally located on NW Military and Wurzbach and is huge. It has 2 sections and both sections are quite elaborate. In all there are 2 exclusive kids play areas. It has a big soccer field, basketball court, volleyball court, walking trail, least difficulty hike. It has good parking area. great for kids birthday parties also. We... More

I come here to run on a regular basis and it's the greatest park in San Antonio to run. Great area for kids and families, plenty of people on the trails so you feel a little safer than somewhere that is derelict. Also love that it is now connected to McAllister park and can make the run longer.

Come enjoy the great Texas out of doors. There is an event center with classrooms available for interactive studies of urban ecological systems. Their are trails to walk, run and hike...all are marked with mileage and place to sit if needed along the way. Looking for a place to earn badges for scouting, naturalist studies, working on a degree in... More
