. . There are few strangers walking around the embracing Santa Fe Plaza where travelers from around the world gather in the wonderful and inclusive friendship that blooms so well here. Stop and start a conversation with the bearded guy, or the smaller couple from England, or the young woman in her early 20s playing a guitar and singing beautifully... More

We were there on a Saturday. Local artists are set up with their jewelry and art work to peruse and buy. La Fonda Hotel is worth a stop for a drink. Great shops to spend your money at!!!!!

Santa Fe is a great place to see the pueblo architecture and art. You can find wonderful hand made jewelry, beautiful hand made pottery with intricate designs, and great cuisine if you enjoy Mexican food.

There are a multitude of shops, restaurants and museums around the Plaza. Some cater to tourists with trinkets, others sell high priced jewelry and art. Galleries abound. All in all, you can spend many hours or days wandering in and out of the the businesses in and around the Plaza and enjoy some great food, too.

The Plaza area has many shops, as well as restaurants and a Park area filled with diverse people at every turn! There are also local people selling their wares right by the Palace of the Innof the Governors. I met a man who engaged in conversation about his struggles while nearby a woman was playing beautiful violin music with her... More

Of course you are going to make time to spend here, this is the heart of Santa Fe for some 500 years, according to the marketing legend. Whatever the truth is, you will enjoy your time exploring this area...
