No reservations. Just show up at the blue door in Lincoln Street (west side of Governors Palace) . The docent was nice and surely knowledgable, but frequently lost track. We ran out of time, and did not see everthing promised, which I always regret, even more, since I love the city and would have wanted to learn and hear more... More

I enjoy taking walking tours when I travel and this met my expectations. Pleasant knowledgable tour guide helped me know ore about the area. Went back to several sites to go in and learn more. Your was two hours and $10. I would recommend.

The tour is through the New Mexico museum of history. The $10.00 per person charge helps support the museum and the guide is a volunteer. Although scheduled for 2 hours it went longer-- the guide giving group members ways to leave the group if necessary. The guide was very knowledgeable and we got a good basis for other exploration of... More

While in Santa Fe visiting family, we were invited to take the walking tour. Allen was our host. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of each site we visited. He was very interesting and I felt an exceptional host. Allen was ver considerate of each guest and was considerate in keeping us in as much shade as possible at... More

Our tour guide was Olreca (sp?) and she was extraordinarily knowledgeable about the history of Santa Fe. We've been on many tours in our travels, and this ranks with the best. There were only five in the tour and it was very enjoyable. We finished at the Loretto chapel with a visit to the mysterious staircase. The tour started on... More

For two hours of fascinating information, Sita, our guide, could have led us for another two hours because we were so appreciative of her enthusiasm, energy and knowledge of this amazing cultural city. At 10am, we met at the La Fonda and learned of the history of the design, paintings and decorations of this landmark Santa Fe hotel. The Main... More

Nick took our party to some excellent restaurants for samples of various foods and wine. The walk was delightful and picturesque. It was a lot of fun. The tour was a little light on the history of the area in comparison to other tours I have joined but certainly worth it. We all loved it!

The tour guide was knowledgable but he usually started his spiel before everyone had gathered around at each stop. I did learn a few things but not like I expected. I considered it waste of time since we didn't see anything tha you couldn't do on your own. The information given on the tour was readily available from many sources.

Pics from canyon road, the plaza both day and night, amazing food and drinks at the Thunderbird bar overlooking the plaza. Would highly recommend "The Shed" also, you will need reservations - enjoy!

The New Mexica History Museum sponsors a daily walk we took at 10:15 with a good guide for only $10. Jim was very knowledgable about the history of Santa Fe and illustrated it with the art and architecture near the Square. Total walk distance is only about a mile, but we enjoyed two hours with him. I recommend this for... More
