We wondered into this gallery and were amazed by what we saw - was a shop and free but more like an exhibition. We looked at every single photo and mesmerised by them all - JFKs assassination, Marilyn Monroe singing "Happy Birthday Mr President" etc...More

I have been visiting the Monroe for 15 years. It is simply the best photography gallery in Santa Fe. Sydney and Michelle Monroe are experts in their field and generous with their time. Their shows are both timely and timeless, and a joyful and sometimes...More

The most amazing collection of 60's civil rights pictures alongside already iconic Ferguson photos makes From Selma To Ferguson a wonderful walk in or destination surprise. But the other photos in the shop by photographers like Eisenstadt are amazing .

The Monroe Gallery is a huge photographic asset to Santa Fe and to the gallery community. Each show is compelling, well curated and moving. We find ourselves returning here again and again and have enjoyed purchasing photographs from nearly every show we've seen there.

Gallery has interesting, changing exhibits of mostly photojournalism--capturing different historical eras (such as the 60' Civil Rights Movement), events and people. Well worth a look.

Great photos from well known photographers. You get a lot of history and a look back at photographs which tell the story of our times. The exhibits change, but they have great photos in the back which are always available.
