I read the reviews on TripAdvisor but still went ahead with the booking. Making the booking was painful. I emailed them using their email link and heard nothing back. Phoned them and the lady was aggressive and said she’d phone back as she was currently doing paperwork with another group. She never did so I followed back up with an... More

Ed & I had a great time on our much needed getaway this weekend. We were welcomed with open arms and the adventure started there. We went for a horseback ride Sunday morning and the staff just wonderful. It gave you the personal family type of feeling. During our ride the view was breathtaking. Our horses were Cheyenne & Lady.... More

We rented Three Sisters for the weekend. The trip to get to it (from 211) is an experience. Make sure your vehicle is up to it. The cabin is lovely and we had plenty of room for the 6 of us. There are two figurines on the fireplace and our 30+ in age kids kept wondering where the other sister... More

We thank you very much for your kindness and review. We also hope that you enjoyed the location for it's prime real-state, next to the Shenandoah National Park, and only 4 miles away from the Luray Caverns, our outdoor activities, and many other Luray attractions. We look forward to seeing you again. More

Our arrival was greeted with a nice cabin surrounded by beautiful scenery which made this place a great choice for labor day; however, as we opened the door, we soon realized their was no electricity. Having checked the fridge, I noticed a strange odor and it was unpleasantly dirty, evident by the dried liquid stain on the bottom drawer that... More

We do confirm that two of these four cabins did suffer an outage of electricity, which, thanks to the professionalism and prompt response of our Electric Company, the problem was solved within the hour. We are very sorry that these people became alarmed and caused their vacation to start on a wrong note. We do send our sincere apologies for... More

Had a blast during our ATV Tour. Jordan the tour guide was awesome! I recommend everyone do at least a two hour tour because your time will go by fast and once you get the hang of it you want to enjoy yourself.

My daughter and I spent 5 days on the river at on of the angler's cabins. It was a beautiful rustic country cabin that had everything we needed for a great retreat. We also took advantage of the horseback riding through the mountains and kayaking. Both were wonderful! It is a family owned/operated business and the staff was warm and... More

Our family of 6 adults and two children booked the Sunrise Ridge Cabin through Appalachian Adventures. upon arrival to rental office, we had to wait an hour for someone to open office so we could check in. After Patricia arrived, it took another hour of signing paperwork before we could get our key to cabin. Finally we get to cabin... More

This lady has made a strong effort to discredit us in many sites. This house is located in the mountains and we have been getting a lot of rain, rainwater has saturated the soil, creating dampness. Anyone who has a basement would understand this, you just open the doors, let the area air out, and problem solved. While this lady... More

I called wanting information on the targeting. The lady answered the phone didn't give name of business so I had to ask if I had even called the right place. Then when asking price the first thing she asked is if I was local, after saying yes,she then said it was for tourist only. Last time I checked my money... More
