If you visit Shiloh, you really must complete the visit by visiting the National Cemetery. I have found relatives and neighbors I never knew were interred there. It really makes you stop and think how others have sacrificed to keep us free!

Worth walking through and looking at the head stones. Helps to remind one how many lives were lost in the battle. Well Kept.

This Cemetery also causes me to remember those who fought and died for what they believed in. It is a beautiful setting for such a tragic loss!

You can drive through it, but take the time to get out and read the history. Stop at the visitors center and get a map and there is a short movie about the battle at Shiloh.

If you like old graveyards, it is really neat. Shiloh church is next to it which is also pretty cool.

Kept impeccably well and respected. There were no traces of vandalism or miscare here as seen at other parks. The staff really takes it position seriously.

There is a plot map and a directory, but since so many of the soldiers were buried in trenches, you might not be able to find the person you are looking for. You can go on the cemetery web site and use the app they offer to... More
