Wonderful to interact by touching the lovely sea life in the touch tanks and learning about their lives. Great for children ans adults. Knowledgeable staff. A worthy visit.

Great fish hatchery, lost of information about Alaska fisheries and local conservation efforts. Great stop for kids. You also can get a great bowl of clam chowder from a food booth in the gift shop.

We enjoyed our tour of about two hours. And the Science Center is worth recommending to others, but the Raptor Center, Totem Park, Fortress of the Bear, and the Cathedral would be higher on our list.

Good points: It was only $5 & the staff were very friendly and answered questions. The kids liked the touch tank and there were thing in there we'd never seen before. Bummers: Very, very small and we did the whole thing in about 15 minutes....More
