Decided to visit after drinking pass several times. We bought a Groupon for $42 for four. I agree that the hall of famers were in weird spots along the wall but it seems the best option and use of space. The museum was very informative if you are interested in basketball, its players, school histories, coaches, and the history of... More

The ultimate basketball place! The hall of fame. Ith as great surrounding amenities and with a renaissance of downtown Springfield going on, this is becoming a great destination vacation.

Didn't care for how the inductees are displayed, but the building is unique for a Hall of Fame and the displays and artifacts are shown in impressive fashion. Hoops fans will love the place. Afterwards everyone has a blast playing and dunking on the rims of different heights on the main floor. Try shooting on the peach basket "rim." Not... More

Recently went to the basketball hall of frame in springfield. Ma. Spent about 2.5 hours walking and looking at the various displays. It shows a good history of the game from the start. Alot of hand on activity, a good time for any level fan of the game

Left early so the 3.5 hr trip only took 2. Hall of fame visit takes between 1-2 hrs. Cute activities for the kids to do. Not much in the surrounding area to do.

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is an American History Museum and Hall of Fame dedicated to the physician and inventor of the sport. Shoot a few baskets even a "peach basket" on a huge pristine court before enjoying an outstanding array of exhibits and artifacts that describe the careers of over 300 Basketball Inductees as well as the...
