We were driving through Springfield back from Boston and needed a stop for the kids to stretch their legs. This was the PERFECT stop. It's free, short in duration (<1 hour) and something the entire family could relate to. The public library is right next door as is a museum so if you want to spend a bit more time... More

A graduate of a famous Springfield MA high School, Theodore Geisel's (Dr Suess) legacy lives on in his characterizations depicted in sculptures in the center of the Springfield Museum complex

Enjoy Dr. Seuss Exhibition through the eyes of your grand-babies. It's like a little bit of the book is coming to life & they can relate to it, so COOL!

A fun place to see Dr. Seuss characters in a bigger than life size. It brought back memory and stories that we read to our children when they were a baby.

This is a very nice area for any Dr. Seuss fan. It is a great way to take pictures with your favorite book characters. Unfortunately, Dr. Seuss' house was not open, as it was closed for rennovations. We will definitely have to make a trip back to see that.

Oh! The places you'll go! The Dr. Seuss Sculpture Garden isn't very big, but it's free to visit! And I had a blast walking through it and finding all the life-sized characters from my favorite Dr. Seuss stories scattered throughout. Of course there was Mr. Theodor Geisel in the middle of it all too! This made for an absolutely whimsical... More

Who doesn't love Dr Seuss? Beautiful detailed bronze statues of all his best characters. My favorite: Yertle the Turtle. About 20 turtles stacked in Salamasond!

"Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities." I definitely had to look through the wrong end of the telescope during this visit. Please don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE fan of Dr. Seuss but I feel... More
