Scranton Lake is a little difficult to find-- particularly the parking access areas. However, if you study a local map, you should be able to find it. Not sure if your GPS would be as good as some personal directions as the main parking lot...More

You follow a nicely paved trail all around the lake. It's a nice easy walk in the woods. No dogs allowed. No wheels either. Just for walkers and runners. It took us a little over an hour to walk 3 1/2 miles. The parking lot...More

Great way to get a good walk or run in. Quiet and peaceful. Careful and watch for deer also use bug spray just to be safe. But a great relaxing area.

Very nice paved trail. Great views of Lake Scranton. For a non-local parking was hard to find. I didn't see any restrooms or port-o-lets. Lots of people walking and running. Felt very safe.

Lovely, peaceful place to walk or run. Safe, paved, scenic! And sometimes the deer actually come right up to you! Lots of shade too.

It was re-opened and then re-closed. I believe there is work being done on the dam and entire loop is not open.

There is another entrance that is wheel chair accessible it's the one that has limited parking. Then the main parking lot had a steep incline that I would not recommend taking an electric WC.
