After spending several hours at Steam Town, we decided to give this place a shot. It only cost $10 for both my husband and I. The short film is definitely worth watching and gives you a good idea of how trolleys came to be. We...More

If you're planning to see both the trolley museum and the steamtown historic site next door, you should probably stop here first to get your tickets before looking at anything else. Apparently tickets for the trolley ride often sell out - we got the last...More

This is really three attractions in one. In Scranton they have a large museum about the trolley with a theater, large gift shop, many exhibits plus plenty of trolleys. Then ride the line and visit the shop on the other end where they restore cars....More

I was very surprised at the length of the tour. it goes from the museum to the ballpark and back. they stop or slow down to point out numerous points of interest along the way. the mile long tunnel is also pretty cool.

Really cool place for a railroad or trolley buff to check out. Lots of history here. Adjacent to steam town historic site. Easy to kill two birds with one stone

The Electric City Trolley Station and Museum was a fun experience for our family. The Trolley ride was fun and educational. The price was great for a family of 5. We will be back!

Very impressed with this unique museum. Large collection of memorabilia. History of trolleys in US was very informative.... a surprising insight into this period of time.

This museum was very small and several cases were blocked by the tracks set up for the annual meet up of train hobbyists.

We googled local areas to visit while we were in Mount Pocono and found Steamtown nearby in Scranton. We went and, although we didn't make it to the railroad portion, we did make it to the trolley portion. For a relatively nominal entrance fee, we...More
