Went here while vacationing in Flagstaff. Wasn't to excited about the amount of money we spent to see the crater, but once we saw the crater, it was worth it. This place is kind of like the Hoover dam- pictures do them any justice. You...More

Agreed it is a little on the pricy side. But the museum is well done, and the staff are courteous and knowledgeable. We got there when it first opened for the day - it was cool, uncrowded, and the site made for some impressive and...More

The meteor crater is surely a great thing to see if you travel along the I-40, but paying 18$, it's too much for what you get to see in my opinion, only if you are maybe interested in the education center adjacent.

This is a one of a kind attraction and the facility is very nice, so I hate to be critical. But, they need to cut the price in half. We paid more to view the crater than we did for two full days at the...More

There is a fee, but I think it's worth it. I mention that because while I was paying mine, a couple young women walked through the door and made a big fuss about it. Then they turned around and stomped out. Allow yourself at least...More

Are wheelchairs available for rental? Is the tour wheelchair accessible?

I did not see any wheelchairs for rental and not to sure about accessibility. The tour can not be done with a wheelchair as it goes out along the rim and is a dirt patch only.
