Definitely take the chair lift to the top. Take a sweater as it will be 10 degrees colder or more on the top. It will be a 30 mon. ride up and 30 min. ride back.

We spent a morning hiking the shoulder of Mt. Humphreys. Aspen forests run down to open pine woodlands, great view of the mountain and even some wildlife. Will definitely be back for more!

Good view of this mountain from the surrounding areas. Had a snowcap on our June 2017 visit and provided excellent pictures during our visit.

San Francisco Peaks - one word describes it - beautiful. My adventures took me all around San Francisco peaks. I was amazed that everywhere I drove I could see the snow peaks.
