This place is soul candy for people who enjoy a good workout while seeing nature and being immersed in history! All four of us who took this journey have either bad knees or bad backs and we did the 240 stairs and it was well...More

There is a Walnut Canyon National Monument, which is GREAT. There is an Oak Creek Canyon "drive" which is also great. Somehow both have been mixed up here in the Walnut Canyon Drive" review.

One Warning: Make sure you are capable of climbing 100+ stairs in the heat if you visit this park in the summer months. I seek out sites with Native American ruins. They fascinate me to no end. Walnut Canyon is the best of the best....More
