This is an important piece of history for Flagstaff and is a beautiful house. The tour is worth it. The architecture is beautiful and you go in almost ever room of the house with your tour guide. This family was ahead of their time with ice boxes, natural AC and many more things. Ask questions! Just a note. I think... More

Mansion looks much smaller from the outside. Once inside it was amazing to see the spacious living quarters and unique architecture. Tour was very informative and enjoyable.

We were just walking by and decided to do the tour. An old home of Flagstaff's founding families in its original condition. Lots of history and architecture. Tour is included in the price of admission. Tours are on the hour

If you're an Architecture buff, don't miss this place! So much innovation in lighting, storage and other areas. I was impressed with the very forward thinking that went into this old place. I will definitely go back to share it with a friend. Be aware that there are quite a few stairs involved and that it would probably not appeal... More

My wife & I had some time and took a guided tour of this home that was built in the early 1900's. The home is indeed a rare gem both inside & out. So many built-in cabinets & the maximizing of what normally would be wasted space was just amazing. The grounds are very nice as well. Our guide was... More

If you want a little history lesson of Flagstaff, visit this site, The docent was very knowledgeable and provided some good insight into the building and owners. If you like 'mission style' architecture, this place will be a real treat. There is a lot of Stickley furniture in the house which is really beautiful. The $10 for the tour is... More

The tour included lots of history about the Riordan family and their impact on the development of Flagstaff. House is a gem and the design, both indoor and outdoors, are worth seeing. The grounds have an excellent information system that explains what you are seeing. Lovely grounds and the place is surrounded by NAU.

There is no charge to walk around the house and they have a self guided tour. If you want to go inside, there is a tour. It is worth taking the tour. One of the houses has been restored with 80% original furnishings, the other house (which is connected) is just a general museum. The only issue I had was... More

We could not take pictures of the furnished side. Docent knew her material and was very kind.$10.00 p/adult. One hour for tour and self guided portion.

Interesting building made even more so by the well informed and enthusiastic volunteer who took the guided tour (the only way to see the whole mansion, every hour on the hour). Compares favourably to other buildings I have visited in the USA.
