Great downtown area, must pay to park everywhere but stores will give you $1 off purchase if you parked. Old Flagstaff reminded us a lot of Asheville, NC. Great shopping and restaurants!

This is an historic area downtown and near the visitor center and train station. There are vintage buildings that have been restored. There are also a number of restaurants and bars. Worth a visit.

Quite a few different types of bars and restaurants all within 2 or 3 blocks. You'd have to work hard not to find somewhere to have a drink or a bite to eat.

Flagstaff appears to be much like Manitou Springs, Colorado and Asheville, North Carolina!!! If you're in to crystals, mysticism, and an "artsy" vibe, this is the place for you, if you're looking for art galleries, and western/local-flavor stores...not so much.

Amazing galleries, home made skincare and great food. Amazing bookstores I wish I could have spent more time in. Loved the whole experience and everyone was super friendly.

Not really knowing much about Flagstaff, we decided to have a look around. Historic Downtown was very interesting, a good place to stroll and take in the history.

There isn't an Amtrak station near Santa Rosa. There is a rail system from The Sonoma County Airport through Santa Rosa to San Rafael.
