This long, narrow lake is quite pretty. Fairly shallow, good for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. $9.00 per day for boat launching. Many pull off areas to view the lake.

It's an ok lake. No real fishing from shore unless you don't mind weeds. Good place to see wildlife and nice sunsets

We went for a triathlon as spectators and it was such a beautiful lake and area. It was cool in the morning in July but it warmed up mid day and it was just beautiful.

We decided to visit after hearing about this at Riordan house. Nice drive although it was too chilly to picnic. Worth the visit in the summer.

if you are just visiting as a day trip I believe it is free. There are camping sites which require a fee.
