Our trip would not be complete unless we visited the Allen Town neighbourhood. Wonderful boutiques, restaurants offering us much of Buffalo.

Too many bars, too many drunks, marginal restaurants and in need of some gentrification. This area is comprised of overpriced apartments in once glorious turn of the century homes. An on clave for druggies and the homeless as well as the marginally mentally deficient. Parking...More

I love to be in Allentown. So many places to stop at and choose from. Summer brings a lot of activity and new things to see.

There are a number of good restaurants in the area, as well as shops. There are night spots too. Parking can be a challenge in evenings when it is busier.

The area is more artsy than upscale. It is considered a gay neighborhood and there are several great bars in the area for both gay, straight, and mixed crowds. It is an odd mixture of upscale, trendy, and middle class. If you want great local...More

This is and has been an entertainment night spot for as long as anyone can remember. Restaurants, bars, dancing all of that and a great street vibe throughout the area.
