Went on a street eats tour at night with Amy. It was one of the best tours I have been on in a long time. Amy was fun, knowledgable and never in a rush. Not only did we learn all the local foods but a great history lesson as well. In between markets we visited the nicest temple that had... More

My wife and I decided to do the Delaware Mansion walking tour. It last approx 2 hours. We found the guide to be knowledgeable and informative. If you are interested in Buffalo history this is a nice tour to take. The guide stops on the porch of most properties and talks about the building(s) and people who had lived there.... More

Took the Queen City Downtown walking tour, our guide was knowledgeable. We went into some of the amazing buildings including the Market Arcade, "gold dome", Guaranty building, Hotel Lafayette, the Erie Community College (Old Post Office) and others. They will never build like this again and it is wonderful that these treasures have been preserved and re-purposed. The entrance to... More

Not until you tour the old grain elevators of Silo City. The tour begins with a fascinating review of history, harkening to the time when Buffalo was a wealthy storage and transfer point for grain shipment between the Erie Canal and the Great Lakes. Then you’ll climb a rusty, circular stair (don’t look down) and emerge atop the silos (don’t... More

I took the 2-hour downtown walking tour. It was good but I would have preferred more history about the architects, how the buildings came to be built, and the evolution of architecture in Buffalo. The guide was very happy to answer questions and was knowledgable, and not afraid to admit when she didn't know something. High marks for that. The... More

My wife and I recently visited Buffalo and were pleasantly surprised at all the great things to see and do. We were drawn initially bya Buffalo Tours offering - All Wright, All Day. It was a day long coach tour showing four of Frank Lloyd Wright's (FLW) designs and two more as quick drive bys. We decided to do another... More

We attended a tour of the Mansions of Delaware Avenue. We are interested in history and architecture. The tour was led by an uninformed tour guide who did not even take the time to review his notes in advance and prepare for the tour. We were led by someone who was just reading through his notes as the tour progressed.... More

Loved seeing these great monolithic gems on the waterfront; very informative tour given by the Buffalo Historical Society. Passionate and well informed guides led the tour.
