The tour was very interesting and a must if you are in Newport. Our tour guide Greg was very knowledgeable about the fort and its history. Touring forts is something we love because it's the history of our nation. Greg was able to answer all...More

Another Newport don't miss. If you only have a few minutes, take a drive down the fill to the fortress and take in the views. If you have about 30 mints., take a walk around the fort. The views are amazing.

Had a wonderful afternoon sitting on a park bench enjoying the amazing view of Newport and the Newport bridge and reading a book. Great place to bring a picnic lunch - lots of tables. I will definitely come here again!

Take a ride here..either by bike or car. The views are spectacular and the park is really lovely. There are several picnic tables overlooking the harbor. Nice place for lunch.

We visited the Fort last year but did not have the opportunity to go inside. This year we did and it was wonderful my husband is a history buff so this was right in his wheel house!
