I recommend warmer weather. There are always events at Fort Adams though and it's a great place to spend an afternoon

We are staying at the Admiral Fitzroy from 7/27 to 7/29. Is this in walking distance to the location of the Bridge fest? What tours do you recommend? What restaurants moderate price seafood do you recommend

I think I'm too late ...but we really liked Benjamin's...I'm not sure if admiral Fitzroy is near the park...sorry

There is a campground on Jamestown Island just over the bridge from Newport.
