I'm a zoo keeper and I took my daughter and husband to Honolulu zoo. I thought their enclosures were a decent size and really well laid out and maintained. The zoo grounds were beautiful. We had a really good time!

Very nice to spend a half day at. Small but worth the visit on the island. Has a petting zoo and a decent assortment of animals. Was interesting watching the elephants being fed.

We had a great time at the zoo but like all zoo's you could not see all animals when you wanted too. I think a zoo in every country is a must do.

Zoo is small but has very nice African safari paddocks. Pretty amazing considering it is Hawaii. Many bird exhibits. Worth a stop if you have a couple of hours.

The Honolulu zoo has everything you hope to see and at a reasonable fee. They also have reduced rates for kama’aina which is nice and leads to more visits. The beach across the street is a wonderful spot with volleyball and killer sunsets.
