This is a great submarine for kids to explore! We bought our tickets online but quickly found out that we still had to go to the main ticket booth to have them printed out. That cost us about 30 minutes! Don't buy tickets online, just...More

We saw this attraction post visiting the USS Arizona Memorial. Gives good insight as to what the Navy does as one aspect of their jobs. Also gives an understanding of how they live, and their quarters while at sea. There were staff available onboard if...More

My children and self spent an hour exploring this beautifully preserved WWII US Navy submarine. It shows you what life would have been like for the numerous navy men that worked on board these subs during WWII. I take my hat off to the men...More

Enjoyable and reasonably priced trip on board a WW2 submarine. Quite how they managed to survive below decks I don't know, room was minimal. Enjoyed using the periscopes too which were just off the boat. $12 gives access to the sub and the museum. Audio...More

If you have never been inside a submarine before, it is quite interesting and fun to see. It is a submarine so be ready for tight spaces and one way in and one way out.

Explored the submarine as part of the Discover Hawaii PH Tour. Self guided audio tour was included and is recommended.

A good experience to get an idea of what our sailors lives were like during the war. The tour allowed us to walk through the submarine and see and understand just how small the quarters were and appreciate their service to our country.

I don't think so. I recall waiting for the Arizona film to start and then going out to the site but I think for the submarine you just go whenever.
