Definitely worth the $ on your visit to Pearl Harbour. Be sure to take your time and listen to all the editorials at each stop, total time was ~30-40 minutes. Hard to get through the tight doorways, so not recommended if your mobility is restricted!

We did the tour and it was informative. You can do it on your own as well. We used the Go Oahu card. Be prepared for cramped spaces. If you are claustrophobic I wouldn't recommend it. Really cool to see all the old instruments that were used.

I was stationed in Hawaii in 1973 -1974 and 1983 - 1986 and we have visited Hawaii many times and I never went to the USS Bowfin. This tour was well worth the price of admission and full of information. Its hard to think that men were confined in such a small space under so much water for such a... More

Visited as part of our Pearl Harbour passport. Visitors need to be aware that its quite claustrophobic inside and you have to move between small porthole doors.

Great for adults, but I noticed many couples struggling to keep their toddlers and infants on track while touring the sub. Really interesting audio tour. Recommended while visiting Pearl Harbor.

Seeing the details of life on a submarine was very enlightening. Everything is well preserved and really brings home what life on a sub must have been like. Allow lots of time. There's a lot to look at.

We were able to go to see everything on the trip but it did get expensive. We ran out of time for the airplanes.

Good place to visit. Not as crowded as the USS Missouri. You could walk through the submarine (including climbing through some small hatches.) Gave you a good idea of how hard it must have been to be a submariner.

You must visit this Submarine to understand how hard was for the men who fight inside of it, We spend 1 hour. Very much worth it. We started with USS Arizona at 9 a.m. and visited Submarine Bowfin around 10 am. Perfect time.

I had no idea that a submarine was so cramped - hats off to the guys who volunteered for this! It is a beautifully complex weapon, and beautifully maintained. We had to hurry our tour through as time was limited, but if you give yourself an hour, it will be brilliant.
