It's an ok place to take a break from the heat. If you are walking along the Waikiki beach walk, you can stop by, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

This is a large, well kept green space that borders Waikiki Beach. If you hate sand but want to relax by the sea this is a good place for you. There is also a free Army Museum within the park.

Not your usual beach park, well maintained, clean, quiet, with an excellent free Museum. The U.S. Army Museum is at the former Battery Randolph, Very well done exhibits on the U.S. in Hawaii.

Really clean place and lots of dog walking going on here. Very central and gives the downtown core a place to breathe and relax. Good security here, always felt safe

If you are a guest at Hale Koa there is a parking garage across the street for less that $10 a day and it is secure.

the milatary resort is next door. you have to be a veteran to stay there or active. The park is next door and anyone can go there. it is no big deal, just a big grass area next to the beach.

Hale Koa hotel will suit military. As for the Ft De Russy Park, it has the museum which will suit vintage WWII enthusiasts etc.
