This is a beautiful place. The installation is mostly oriented toward retired and active military. The restaurant on the beach is open to the public, has a great view, good service and a broad menu.

Just a dirty park in the middle of a dirty city. Definitely nothing to write home about. Can't say for sure but it seemed like a place to avoid at night.

We went through the museum exhibits of WW II history and memorabilia. The large tanks, helicopter and artillery guns are very interesting to examine up close, The adding beach area is nice for a quick bite to eat and taking endless beautiful pictures.

Fort deRussy is a nice shaded park right on Waikiki beach. One of the hidden gems is the Fort DeRussy museum which is well worth your time (About 45 minutes) to go through.

It fronts Waikiki Beach at a place that has a wider beach than the Diamond Head end of Waikiki Beach, so you have... More

A relatively quiet nice park on the beach with the Army Museum on site. A great place to take photographs of the sun setting!

Lovely green space at the Ewa end of Waikiki. The military museum is interesting, as are the tanks sitting out front. Walk thru the park toward the Hilton for great view of the Friday night fireworks. There are tables at the beachfront under cover where you can eat food you bring with you.
