Big park area across the street from Ala Moana Mall

So lovely to see the number of families who use this park for picnics, games and connecting with friends and their extended families.

15 minutes away from our hotel. Nice walk in the Ala Moana Beach Park after dinner. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset at the park.

The lagoon is lovely, but the actual park I didnt find that great, walked from the mall to the lagoon and passed so many homeless people set up tent here and actually felt... More

We walked around the park one afternoon and we were so impressed at the scenery! Great views of Waikiki and Diamondhead, gorgeous beach, beautiful water. The park itself has a lovely, accessible pathway and lots of trees. We were glad we took the time to wander here.

On the way back, got to taste local Hawaiian music & dance as local drummers & dancers were prepping for a show in... More

We spent a lot of time on the beaches on the island. Pleasant crowds, family oriented times of sharing.

During our travel for Pearl Harbor, the tour guide suggested us to go to the Ala Moana beach for sunset view. So after our trip, we drove back to Ala Moana park which is right in front of Ala Moana Center (one of the biggest shopping malls in USA). This beach park is like entire world is right in front... I love black seashells, they're my favorite, and I found a few here, which was fun and amazing. I wasn't even looking for them, but when I sat up on my beach towel, one was right there by my leg, so of course, I went out looking a few more times for them and found a few. I've never seen... More
