Clean, fun comedy show!

They say that clean comedy is harder to do than blue (not clean) comedy, but that it’s funnier when done well. Bo Irvine does clean comedy, and he does it well. The show is very... read more

They say that clean comedy is harder to do than blue (not clean) comedy, but that it’s funnier when done well. Bo Irvine does clean comedy, and he does it well. The show is very funny, and Bo tailors the show to address the audience on the day, which means that if you attend on one night, the jokes may... More

Went for some laughs at Sharkey's last night. Got settled in with a couple of beers right in front of the stage and the mc and warmup guy came out and got the crowd going, try not to laugh at his mullet. Second was a self effacing blind guy who was very clever, then the headliner Bo Irvine who was... More

What a great atmosphere. The comics are class acts with clean comedy. The drink prices are very reasonable. I took my teenagers and they loved the comedy too. I would highly recommend.

Never thought of going to see comedy while vacationing in Hawaii. Glad I did. Overheard a couple talking about a great comedy show while visiting Pearl. The show is Wednesday night at the Hale Koa Hotel. I took my wife and we laughed so hard alongside 30 others enjoying the show. The food and beverage were great and very reasonable.... More

Had a discount coupon and went to the late show one Wednesday while in Oahu. The first two comedians weren't very funny; same old tired jokes. The last, probably the "headliner" made us laugh. Only about ten people in the audience when we went. Liked how they brought the audience into the show. Small venue, on the top floor of... More

The theme of Polynesian humor brought me to this laugh spot. Plus, I purchased discounted tickets at AH3: Hawai'i Fun. Unfortunately, my funny bone was not tickled. There were two comics in the line-up. The second was funny. I would not write the place off. Comedy is a tough gig. Humor widely varies and this just wasn't my laugh.

Their early show, Comedy Polynesia, was a gem. Two extremely funny and lovable Hawaiian comedians who, in the context of a traditional comedy club format, took us on a journey on what it's like to be a native Hawaiian living in the middle of Oahu's visitor industry, as well as what it's like for a Hawaiian to travel across the...
