This spot overlooks the bridges spanning the Mississippi and provides a great view. The staff is very helpful with a special desk for those wishing to visit the battlefield and Civil War sights, plus one for general Mississippi/Vicksburg information. We stopped here on our vacation to get any information regarding Vicksburg and the surrounding area. The staff was very friendly and well-informed. The view was magnificent from the back porch.

Loved the views of river and bridge from there. Inside is decorated with vintage furniture and a wonderful visitor guide answered all our questions and gave us excellent points to visit

For a spectacular view of the Mississippi River and the bridges connecting with Louisiana, take a few minutes to stop along your journey. They provide excellent information as well as historical displays about Vicksburg and beyond. A hidden gem!
