Go early on nice days - good walking. Great animals - new polar bear, new painted dog pups, new baby giraffes right now. Excellent tulip display April/May - 100,000 bulbs! Good kid things and adults too. Oh and the Festival of Lights at Christmas right now is beautiful.

I thought it was a little expensive for what was offered. We did the full package- $25 per adult unlimited train rides, 4d movie- polar express - 15 minutes long, and some of the exhibits were open. It was very crowded and long lines for the train and it only lasts 10 minutes. Overall it was a good experience but... More

The zoo is amazing. My wife convinced me 5 years ago to get the pass and it is totally worth it. My little girls love the zoo and request to go multiple times per week. The set up is good but you definitely get your exercise. Try to time it right so you see the cheetah run or the snow... More

Beautiful lights, really crowded. But fun for kids. Long lines for restrooms. Weather was great on this night. Traffic and parking not good.

Went early per previous reviews & got there by 4 pm - less traffic. It was still light when we got there, but dark before we got done so that we could enjoy the lights. We got the pkg.that included the train, 4D theatre, & carousel & thoroughly enjoyed it all. I highly recommend!

Enjoyable visit. Particularly enjoyed black light puppet show. We got there early so parking was not too difficult. The person with light stick at entrance just waved stick around but did not direct heavy traffic coming from 2 directions so one just had to be assertive in making the turn into the zoo. Potentially accidents could have happened. Entering zoo... More

Season pass holders here. We especially love "Zoo Babies" and "Festival of Lights", but any time is good, especially when we have our grandsons!
