Pretty square, really liked the color changes on the fountain and adjacent building and the ice skating rink was up and being used well into the evening. We had a view of the square from our hotel room and enjoyed watching the ice skaters and color changes all evening.

So they know, the first its not,the previous was elongated with not a "Dubois Tower" in its midst.Iit was similar with the Tyler Davidson Fountain, and was called "The Esplanade" frequently visited for its Christmas trees. As we got older, it reveled in restaurant growth of all kinds, fast food to sit in dining on several corners since we are surrounded by hotels... More

The square is still beautiful in spite of the big movie screen and skating rink. (I realize a lot of people enjoy the movies and the skating.) The fountain is still beautiful. There's a little less room to congregate due to the skating rink, but it's still a pleasant experience. There are quite a few restaurants nearby. I almost always... More

Well worth a visit , when we were there the ice skating ring was open but loads of bars and places to eat. Take the load off and watch the world go by.

NYC has Central Park, London has Hyde Park, and Cincy has Fountain Square. The nerve center of the city. Big TV screens on adjacent buildings, the hustle and bustle of nearby streets converging, buskers playing music, vendors selling stuff, workers chatting on break, and tourists snapping shots are all things you'll encounter. Peel back the commotion and enjoy the history... More

Shop, eat, relax. You can do it all at Fountain Square. Tree lighting @ Thanksgiving, ice skating at Christmas, festivals and sports on big screen, activities throughout the year. Try staying in Northern Ky (right across the river) and take the Trolly for $1.00 for another fun experience.

Fountain Square is iconic in downtown Cincinnati. You will see the fountain in full stream in three seasons, no winter, and there is always entertainment from live bands and DJs, art shows, farmer's market, Bengals tailgating and support of the Red's it's a must visit in Cincinnati.

I work downtown and often go to the square for lunch. Sometimes they have food trucks on the Square where you can order lunch and eat right on the square or of course there are tons of restaurants to stop at before you reach the square. At different times of the years they have different events going on such as... More

I lived in downtown Cincinnati for over 16 years and loved going to Fountain Square, whether it was just a quiet ordinary time or whether there was a festival or other even going on there. The fountain is beautiful, and there is a magical atmosphere about the Square that is very meaningful to me
