This fountain was absolutely beautiful! I wish we could've seen it at night when it's all lit up..maybe next time!

But, by all accounts the center of downtown Cincinnati. Worth a walk through to see the Carew Tower, the high-rise prototype for the Empire State Building, along with the other high rise buildings. Also, the fountain is pretty impressive. If it's hot out, stop over...More

This area is VERY BUSY at times. We went late at night so parking and crowds weren't a nightmare. As you stood at the fountain and looked around, the architecture around you is stunning - in all directions. Cinci is actually a beautiful city.

What a great place to visit. You can eat outdoors, people watch, enjoy the music festivals when they are there. Beautiful

The square is always booming with activity, especially in the summer. The nightlife is great. There are some cool places to eat on the square and nearby and it's a nice place to just hang out if you've got some time to kill.

The recently renovated fountain is so beautiful, especially at night. There is always an event, free concert, or something happening at the square.

Fountain square has great music Wednesday thru Sunday from 6pm on. Great fun for everyone. It is across the street from the Westin Cincinnati and has a Graeters ice cream shop right there in the square. Food trucks too!! What could be better.

There was buzzing areas of activity in the park and around the fountain, it seems festivals and more are held here. Visited while in Cincinnati recently, its worth a stop to take in the history and see all the activities here on any given day.

I believe that the German market that you are reference is 'Findlay Market' which is on the northwest side of downtown. I think that it is only open during daytime hours. It is better and livelier during warmer months
