Fun to bring your lunch & eat on the square to people watch. Also, go to watch Bengals, UC or Reds games on the big screen! Don't forget to come down to Ice Skate in Winter November -January, fun for whole family. Watch for Public Library book sales & many other special events.

The fountain was originally donate to Cincinnati by France and is right in the heart of town. The visitors bureau puts on many events throughout the year All of the events are free although there is a charge for food and drink. Our favorite night is Thursdays when they have salsa music and free lessons.

I went ice skating at fountain square last night and has a blast. And it only cost $5 and I skated late into the evening. It was a little crowded but well worth my 5 bucks

This was a nice view to have. I saw quite a bit of homeless people hanging out after hours, but never any problems. I think the city is doing a great job of utilizing this as a public space! I loved all the colors and the buildings and fountain/water changing colors!

Visited Fountain Square during the holidays at Christmas time. What a beautiful scene. The Macy's Christmas Tree was huge and beautifully decorated. The ice skating rink was in full swing , with Hot Chocolate to warm you up . There was definitely excitement in the air. You could even take a Horse drawn Carriage ride. The Tyler Davidson fountain looked... More

The square has a nice outdoor ice skating rink in the winter and many nice restaurants in the area. However there are far too many panhandlers. Some of them are also extremely pushy and to be honest it doesn't feel exactly safe down there. I also work in that area and know that it is pretty much like that most... More

We drove all over down town to look at Christmas lights and fountain square is very festive. I wish we would of had time to ice skate. Everyone I encountered was very nice and kind, which is rare nowadays.
