This is a cool spot to hang out, eat graeters ice cream, take pics by the fountain and most fun of all, people watch. Beautiful lighting at night on and around the fountain. Was lucky enough to have a hotel room overlooking the square, one...More

Fountain Square is the absolute heart of Cincinnati. From concerts in the summer to ice skating in the winter, there is always something to do on the square. And, of course, there is the fountain made famous by WKRP in Cincinnati all those years ago

Have seen this Square in both spring and winter now and it’s lovely in both seasons! Christmas market set up in the winter months reminiscent of Europe and NYC markets. Love!

While visiting Cincinnati around Christmastime, my husband and I visited Fountain Square. The fountain itself is lovely. There are several restaurants set up around the square. While we were there, an ice skating rink was set up. It was a charming experience.

Great time there but was freezing out. Fireworks were great. Place was clean and ice skating there. It was to cold for us to try. Lime 5 degrees outside. Said was coldest new years eve in 50 years.

The square was lovely with a large Christmas tree and ice skating rink outside. The price was very budget friendly at 6.00 a person with skate rental a few dollars more.

The historical story of this fountain is beyond words. Each statue has a meaning bringing the fountain together as a whole.

We were in Cincinnati over night in December. Loved walking through Fountain Square. Ice skating was fun. Loved the big tree with the Macy's star. There are several nice restaurants near by.

I believe that the German market that you are reference is 'Findlay Market' which is on the northwest side of downtown. I think that it is only open during daytime hours. It is better and livelier during warmer months
