Person can take an elevator most of the way up to the roof of the Carew Tower (you do have to take stairs the last few flights), 48 stories above the city, or take the stairs all the way. One of the drills our city firefighters do is to run up the stairs with a full load of equipment on... More

Carew Tower is absolutely a beautiful tower with great views. You have to take an elevator to the 45th floor then a small elevator to the 48th and then stairs to the 49th. Just take to stairs once you reach the 45th, its a lot quicker. You do have to pay like 4 dollars for tickets but the looks don't... More

Had the chance to visit on a lovely afternoon and was treated to great views over the city, well worth the visit and a lot cheaper than other cities for similar views.

Carew Tower is not hard to find. We parked on the street about a block or so away. You ride up to the 45 the floor on one elevator, then you get on a tiny 3 person elevator to the 48yh floor. From there you walk up to 49th floor to the observation deck. Very nice view of Cincinnati and... More

My family and I visited here over fall break. It was an amazing view of the city. Low cost and very cool. Make sure you bring cash though. We got all the way to the 49th floor and were told they only accepted cash. There was an ATM inside a bank on the first floor so it was no big... More

I love going to the top of the Carew Tower to "look around." It is so much fun to see the city from this perspective. I've been there many times, and it never ceases to amaze and amuse me. It gives me a sense of how big the world is and how little I am!

We went up the carew twice this visit. It's only $4 a person with 25cent look out machines. They aren't even necessary. You get a great view 360 degrees. The gift shop is sparse, but the man was really nice. Elevators most of the way up and then you have to climb 2 short staircases to finish it off.

To get here you have to find the Hilton Hotel Netherland Plaza. Find the mall area inside and take the main elevators to the 45th floor. From there you'll take another elevator to the 48th and then stairs one flight up to the observation deck. Take cash! It is $4 per person and is collected at the top. Great views... More

This was a wonderful place for seeing spectacular views of Cincinnati and the Kentucky Border. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful clear day to look our over all sides. View of Ohio River and bridges into Kentucky were great.
