We really enjoyed our trip to see the butterflies. The caterpillar craft was so cute for the kiddos to do. My daughters (5 & 2) really had fun coloring and learning before heading into the butterfly room. The butterfly room had so many butterflies! It was a blast looking for all the different kinds. The volunteer staff were so kind,... More

Came to see the Butterfly Exhibit on a Friday morning. No lines for tickets. I loved looking at all the beautiful plants that are everywhere! Once we got to the main butterfly room, I was at first a bit disappointed that we didn't see too many butterflies right away. The room was fairly crowded with some school groups and other... More

Once we visited a butterfly farm in Aruba, so was excited to see one here. The ticket line was nice, lots of plants and was empty. In the next room- the orchid room- there was 4 other people and again, no concerns. We then entered a big room, more for kids with tables and crayons and coloring. On the wall... More

The music box and nativity at Christmas and Butterfly Show in the Spring are always nice. The Conservatory is often the same time after time, though, so is lacking ongoing uniqueness for those of us who like to visit two to three times each year.

Very nice, great location, beautiful foliage inside and out. The butterflies were beautiful, just wish one of them would have landed on my hand. The gift store is also very nice with selections for all ages.

The orchid room certainly leaves something to be desired, but the butterfly room is really the highlight! It is very magical and full of beautiful butterflies! It was a lot of fun!

We first arrived around 1:00 pm on a Saturday. We encountered a ticket line that extended about 50 feet outside the building. Unknown to us at the time was the fact that there was about 70 more feet of line inside the building. We waited for 5 minutes and the line didn't move. We decided to step out of line,... More

It is always a neat place during the butterfly show season. They are absolutely amazing creatures. Also, all the orchids are wonderful and it's just interesting to see the different plants that you don't get to see around here.

We always try and go during the butterfly show, this year the weather was ideal and they (butterflies AND kids) were really active. So many different types, it is always well worth the time to go.

We visited the Krohn in January and 1/2 of the rooms were closed but they still charged the same admission price... The rooms that we were able to visit were nice and it was cool seeing a building with that kind of history. If you going just to view everything you could have easily seen everything in 20 mins. It... More
