Unfortunately we hadn't had time to see all the area (it is pretty big and there are a lot of geysers), but I think it is really worth a visit, though it is crowded in a summer day. There are some beautiful and famous geysers,...More

It's fascinating to see the sites here, photos don't seem to do it justice. We spent a short period of time here as we were leaving the park after spending several nights in a cabin. I can't believe we left. It for the last minute...More

This sight is just amazing! My kids took about 30 pictures during this sight stop. It is amazing to see the wonder that the world holds for us.

It feels foolish to even review this beautiful wonder by nature. Thank you nature and thank you park officials for maintaining this beauty and preserving it for future generations.

We visited with the family and the boardwalk is easy to navigate and provides a great view, the area can have a strong sulphur smell that you start to feel in the back of the throat. The colors on show are intense

The largest collection of geysers in the world is here. Several of these are larger or more regular than Old Faithful. Take time to wait for Grand Geyser, and if you can catch Riverside in late afternoon light, you will often get a rainbow.

Awesome colors and opportunity to see the amazing things that nature does . Big tip - go in the afternoon or after it warms up. Yes the crowd will be bigger, but if you go when it is too cold in the morning......there is so...More

Upper Geyser Basin is a must visit in the Yellowstone Park. I'd highly recommend taking the boardwalk to see all the geysers and not just stick around the Old Faithful (trust me! there is more to this area). You can get the necessary information about...More

This geyser is quite attractive. It has yellow and green in it, and one spot is quite deeper than the other. Quite amazing! I stayed there for a few minutes, taking it all in. I had never seen before such beautiful colors. Worthwhile to see!

How much time would it take to cover the boardwalk loop thru Upper Geyser Basin? Not counting waiting for any geysers to erupt.

Hi Daniel: This is kind of a loaded question. That is if you are to go directly from Old Faithful up to the Morning Pool (near the end of the upper geyser basin) it is 1.5 miles. Depending on how often you stop, how fast... More

Summer is the busiest, that is when we were there, late June. I've also been there in early fall and that was very nice.
