This waterfall is just inside the south entrance to the park. The stop is signed and there is a small parking area. It was early afternoon when we stopped and there was plenty of parking, I think we were the first to stop. The trail...More

Short hike down to the Falls. Very easy to get to and the steps are easy, as well. Great pics and astounding views from these little Falls. Definitely go see!!!

Beautiful falls, but only the brink is visible from the Road. Interesting hike to the base, not paved, some "stone" steps (a walking stick would have been helpful) however, sitting on a warm rock in the sun and communing with the falls is totally worth...More

The path down to the falls is slippery and steep in the winter, but don't let that stop you from going. It is beautiful; just take it slowly. Climb back up seems easier.

Moose Falls is absolutely beautiful! For good pictures you'll have to make a little bit of a walk down hill! I would highly recommend the stop!

Nice falls with steps to view well. Not able to access the water because of posting. Noise of the falls adds to the enjoyment, since you can get so close.

This is another 30 Ft waterfall in the park, but it seemed higher to us. Since it is a bit off road, it wasn’t crowded at all. We were able to take the rocky path down to the creek below the falls and climb on...More

We arrived at Yellowstone National Park via the South Gate. We were using the book Yellowstone Mileposts, and saw that Moose Falls would be coming up in just a few miles on the right. There is a turn out just past a bend in the...More
