We stopped in here to see the geyser, but the Old Faithful Inn was as big an attraction for us. Truly an exceptional wood working feat and a real travel in time moment. Very worthwhile stop while doing a Yellowstone tour.

As is typical of many of Yellowstone's restaurants, it's staffed by students on summer break. Service was slow and the food tepid. Very crowded and pricey for the quality of the food.

We had a good room this time. Decent view and spacious. Our last four visits we had a tiny room on a lower floor.....like being in a closet. But the main hotel is worth visiting! Unbelievable great room and giant fireplace.

A cavernous and historic building with lots of charm and character. You can almost see Teddy Roosevelt leaning on the log walls saying "bully"

We ate our picnic lunch while waiting for Old Faithful to blow. The Inn is rustic with many places to relax. The outside deck provides an awesome view of Old Faithful. The gift shop has very reasonable prices.

The lobby of this inn is simply magnificent. Raw lumber climbing up several stories to the crow's nest. Fireplace bigger than anything you have seen. Live music in the lobby was entertaining and talented - first a fiddle player than a piano player. Friendly staff....More

This might be a little extreme, but I was actually more impressed with the Inn rather than the Old Faithful.

We didn't stay at Old Faithful Inn, but it was a welcome sight after hours in the park - particularly because it was 25 degrees in mid-May. The lobby is magnificent and includes clocks in strategic places to tell you when Old Faithful is next...More

This is the most amazing building I've ever set foot in, it's incredible to gaze up and see the construction on the huge log structure in the large open space when you walk in. Live musicians playing up on the second level and the impressive...More

We were there in October so I can't be sure about the temperature in July. However, it was warm because it is a wide open area with grass, gravel, and blacktop.
