Splendid views that are a true inspiration to any artists or photographs. A must-do in Yellowstone, even with the crowd and waiting to take a picture/admiring the scenic views, it totally worth it.

A strenuous hike but worth it. I would recommend backpack with water and cooling cloth. The beauty of the sounds and site is truly magestic.

Artist Point (藝術家點) is on the south rim (south of the Yellowstone River) of the Grand Canyon in Yellowstone National Park. Artist Point was named by Frank Jay Haynes in 1983 by misinterpreting the location where the painter Thomas Moran sketched his 1872 depictions of the falls. Moran’s paintings were, in fact, at the north rim, named Lookout Point (also... More

Using the South Rim Drive, you can stop and view the Lower Falls and Grand Canyon of Yellowstone at Artists Point. Artists Point is where you can have the most beautiful grand view of the Lower Falls together with Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and the snaking Yellowstone River below. The view is amazing and the colors of Grand Canyon are... More

Stop, take time to listen, view and enjoy. One of many stops in the park considered a must see. Incredible beauty.

This was such a nice surprise, as we had no idea that we should go until some other tourists mentioned it to us. It is not very hard to walk to and is a very good place for photos. You can see the beautiful colors in the rocks and get a great view of the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone.... More

It is a nice point where you can see artists at work inspired by the nature and enjoy a wonderful and wide view of the Upper Falls of Yellowstone and the canyon without doing difficult trails (it is a really little walk from the car parking). Definitely a place to see in Yellowstone Park.

So this was beautiful, along with the Prismatic spring along with the other colorful springs we saw. It gets crowded by mid morning at the different springs, so plan to get an early start, parking is limited at all the sites so be prepared. Would definitely visit again.

One of our favorite hikes while we were there. Lovely viewpoints. Accessible to all. Very pretty particularly late afternoon.
