Stunning views, excellent walking, amazing waterfalls! A must-do for anyone visiting California! The views from Glacier Point were fantastic and it was a great walk back down to Half Dome Village from here!

We hiked this trail on the last day of June, and luckily for us, the falls were still glorious. This hike took us a total of about six hours, including a few twenty minute breaks and an 45-60 lunch break. We had a couple of...More

The day after the Yosemite Half-marathon- Fall 2016, we did this hike.. and it was steep & had our legs burning! Starts off on the Mist trail and then you continue to climb by Vernal Falls to Nevada Falls. It was a fantastic HIKE! At...More

I was surprised at the incline of this hike as we went to the first bridge because so many people had talked about how popular it was. It is paved up to the first waterfall, and then it gets fun with stairs. We went up...More

This was an absolutely gorgeous hike. So glad we didn't turn around when we reached Vernal Falls. I would hike this again in a second if I lived anywhere close to Yosemite.

Hiking to Nevada Falls is an awesome adventure and something that must be experienced in person as words cannot describe the beauty. Leave plenty of time to enjoy the various vistas and make sure to wear good shoes.

We this hike starting at about 9:00am. In the summer, I recommend an earlier start to avoid the heat and to somewhat lessen the crowds. It is a fantastic voyage among granite and Nevada Falls and Vernal Falls are both wonderful.

This hike is amazingly beautiful. The scenery changes often and is awe inspiring. We took Mist trail up and Muir trail (easier but longer) down. Very strenuous with several vertical climbs. Make sure you carry enough water and snacks to get you through.

Before we left, my 15 and 17 year old did not want to “hike” the whole trip, so at one point I actually cancelled it. Well, put them in Yosemite and all that goes away. Hike your tails off past Vernal Falls and bust your...More

You'll be hoofing it! Take it easy and bring some water. Make sure you have good hiking shoes that fit, especially for downhill.
