There are shops, displays, and a Market here. We watched the movie about Yosemite in the Village area. Also looked as some exhibits and shopped in the market for tee shirts, gifts, and snacks. Art gallery shop here as well. Plenty of parking, restrooms, and...More

Well worth a visit. Not a huge place but worth a stop for a drink and maybe something to eat whilst paying through.

I was impressed with the display in the visitor center that spoke to the ancient history of the park. Stop in for a map and take a peek! The Indian Village and cemetery were also interesting!

The village is where you can tour the museum, the Ansel Adams gallery, stock up on food or supplies, grab an ice cream, burger, pizza or souvenirs. One or more people complained about the traffic in the park. Yes it is bad, primarily on weekends....More

This is the only place to get your shopping done, BUT, they have closed the sport shop entirely so if you need gear for your camping or outdoor activities, you are out of luck. (More of Aramark's reduction of service and emphasis on their needs...More

I know this question is old, but if anyone wants to know more about Yosemite Village, you can shop & check out the Visitor Center & such. Ask future questions on the TripAdvisor forum where answers are posted the same day.
