Plan to pull off the main road inn immediately after passing through the tunnel. Worth the stop to take in the Yosemite Valley & waterfalls from afar.

It's the sunrise/sunset spot made famous by Ansel Adams, Michael Frye and others. If you want a spot along the wall looking into the valley you may need to be there an hour before sunset to get your tripod in place. The good thing is people are generally mellow & you'l probably make a new friend.

A must-see when visiting Yosemite! It gets tricky to park around there as it's so popular, but definitely worth waiting for a space so you can snap that iconic scene!

When people say they have been to Yosemite, the picture in their mind is the one they saw when they stopped at this highway rest-spot at the end of a long mountain tunnel shortly before arriving at the Yosemite Center buildings and lodging. From the view of Bridal Veil falls, to the stark jutting stone cliffs, to the beautiful valley,... More

If you are traveling to Yosemite through wagon road you won't be able to miss this spot. Right after the tunnel there is a parking to stop by and take some pictures. It was raining when we were there at the end of April, but still the vie was breathtaking!

Sometime when you see pictures you wonder if it really as breathtaking as it looks. With tunnel view it really is. Just breathtaking. You can drive right there, so it's easy. Lots of parking. That being said sometimes it's so busy there is no parking. Get there early or go a little later.

Probably the most famous view in the Yosemite National Park and for good reason. There's parking just next to the viewpoint and is the most amazing place for a perspective out across the park. If you visit one spot it should be this one.

Truly astonishing. Tunnel view is the gateway to Yosemite Valley. It offers breathtaking views of El Capitan, Half Dome and Bridal Veil Falls. Don't forget to record the exit of the tunnel and to bring a tripod to optimize your day. One-of-a-kind place worldwide

This is perhaps the most photographed site in Yosemite - and for good reason - it is fantastic. Early morning or late afternoon are dramatic - clouds add to the view. Don't miss it.
