Climbing: Recommended (but expect unprepared/uncaring guides) My husband and I did a full-day climbing and a half-day kayaking with Adam's Climbing School. We have climbed before and it was a great experience going with this group. We had a few beginners in our group and I was surprised that the guides gave little to no instruction or guidance to them... More

Staying in Vang Vieng, you just have to try climbing once. My girlfriend had a little experience in rope climbing and bouldering, but I hadn't any. You only live once, they say, so we decided for a full day of climbing in the sleeping wall. (Adam himself spent four years in Germany. So if German speaking people are struggling, he... More

Climbing: Did a half day climb with Adam's school - there were four of us and an instructor named 'One.' Had such a great time! It was my first time - everyone else in the group was a bit more experienced. However, One was great and made sure to explain what to do, how to climb, how to tie knots,... More

This was so much fun. I felt as though I was in safe and competent hands with our guide, Hop. I was surprised at how high the climbs were considering we were absolute beginners but with the encouragement of our guide and a couple of other climbers, I felt confident enough to give it a go. I am glad I... More

A must do for all people who enjoy the outdoors and are not vertically challanged. Friendly staff who love what they do. Highly skilled staff that make safety a priority. There remains a variety of challenging climbs to choose from which suits all skill levels.

I was pleasantly surprised with my introduction to climbing in Vang Vieng. We were issued with a harness and climbing shoes (all inclusive of the 180000 Kip or 22USD). 'Hop' was the man in charge of the mornings activities, and after a 10 minute drive and a short river crossing by boat we arrived at the climbing site. 'Hop' conducted... More

Went today for a half day climb with Adam, and it was absolutely amazing. I learnt to climb earlier this year in an effort to get over my fear of heights, but it's been a few months since I last climbed, and I've never climbed outside before, so I was a little nervous. Adam took us to the most beautiful... More

We had a great day climbing. I climb in the UK and loved the rock face. When we went into the office we were worried it would be raining but it was fine as the climbs are covered by an overhang so even in the pouring rain the rock surface was bone dry. Only thing to consider is a very... More

We had a good day, and thankfully no major incidents, but only because we were lucky! The kit was old, the ropes had far too much stretch, helmets were provided for the climber only (not those underneath that rocks might fall on), and the belaying techniques of the guides left a lot to be desired. The scenery was lovely and... More

Rock climbing and caving was my favorite thing to do in Vang Vieng - the tubing wasn't anything special. I'm so glad I went to Adams for rock climbing because it was well worth it. I learned a few things and we were in the shade climbing limestone.
