the bell sinking tower of laoag city is the famous landmark in the city, not only because of the good and beautiful attaction but it is the memory of the spanish colonialism of the philippines. this was built in 1580

This place is historical. And it's near their cathedral which is picturesque. It's worth the visit. Just get to know the story behind it.

Saw this bell tower two years ago and returned today. It's still standing and looking much the same. One of the main landmarks of Laoag and within walking distance of St Williams Cathedral - so both sites can be conveniently visited at the same time....More

According to kuya jerome our driver/tour guide, the square that we saw is already a window. The door was already on underground. It is sinking every year because of the sand where it was built.

Visited this when we went to laoag city, it's a great landmark to ensure you don't get lost. The actual building has slowly sank so the entrance was once tall enough that you coulkd ride through in horseback but now you would have stoop just...More

It's unique to see only takes a few minutes. Like the rest of the country don't get over run by trikes, the kings of the road.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. Sorry, I haven't heard of Paoay Lake. Tourist came to visit Paoay Church but not Paoay Lake. Thanks for the question
