We had a great day exploring the palace area and grounds. It was very peaceful and scenic. This is a long drive from Seoul however if you are for any reason, great place to walk around.

This is a very sacred place for the Buddhist. You can see monks praying, so be respectful and also take off shoes. The area is quite beautiful.

Seoul is northwest, Pyeong-chang is northeast and Busan is southeast. It takes about 3hrs from Seoul to here. You need to change several buses.
