Small safari, but nice!

I enjoyed my time at the safari. I guess we picked the perfect timing, because we were the only ones there; we got there when they opened. It was only $20 US per person. Not bad... read more

This is not a safari but more like a zoo. It seemed a bit rundown and in need I'd paint and clean up. It was not very busy. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable taking us on a walking tour for just over 1 hour. You get to walk thru birds and feed them grain from the palm... More

Although our guide was very knowledgeable about the various animal exhibits, this visit was disappointing overall. Exotic animals were in the minority and many can be seen on farms or in zoos elsewhere. Our tour was lengthened by the presence of children and the language barriers. The film presented at the set of the James Bond movie was interesting.

I enjoyed my time at the safari. I guess we picked the perfect timing, because we were the only ones there; we got there when they opened. It was only $20 US per person. Not bad, in my opinion. The bird aviary was really cool. The birds were on our shoulders, in our hands, and on our shoes. We were... More

I will never recommend anyone who is an animal lover to visit this attraction. At the entrance, there are 3 good size parrots, each in a tiny bird cage. They would obviously be happier flying around a decent sized aviary. The lady at the booking window said that they are kept outside in the "fresh air" during the day, then... More

a couple of other types of animals. Overall its an unlarge venue but the staff go out of their way to make your visit special. You are given guidance and allowed to pet / hold a snake. The tour of the property was decent and last a little over an hour. It was not on my top of things to... More

I recently went to this attraction whilst on holiday in Montego Bay. I have to say i didn't go with high expectations but i was left sadden by the conditions of some of the animals. As we moved on from seeing the crocs to the smaller species we passed several tiny cages each with a very hot, cramped and neglected... More

The main attraction of the Jamaica Swamp Safari Village (well, for me at least) is that it is where the stunt double for Roger Moore, appearing as James Bond 007, runs across the backs of crocodiles in the film "Live and Let Die". Apparently, the screenwriters of "Live and Let Die" were scouting for locations in Jamaica when they came... More

Went over spring break with three kids ages 9,11,12. We had a great time and there is plenty to see over the 90 min tour. You will get to ( if you want to ) hold a snake and a baby crocodile. My boys thought it was great fun. Not a ton a shade so dress accordingly. Interesting place, if... More

We really enjoyed the tour of the Swamp Safari Village, we expected to be able to have lunch there, but when we arrived we were informed there was no cook. We were not with a tour group we were exploring on our own so we were a bit disappointed but overall the tour guide was a lot of fun and... More

This is a small place that has mostly Crocs and birds to show off but some other lovely animals too - you can have your photo taken holding a croc if you wish too! We enjoyed our trip there and our guide was fun and informative
