We drink beer regularly and enjoy bit thoroughly. But we never really looked into how is it made at a microbrewery level. Beerworks offers a incredibly informative tour that will truly leave you in love with local micro breweries. The tasters at the end are also a great touch wrapping the whole tour together. Great time, great tour guide, great... More

Dave the englishman was our tour guide of the brewery. He was very informative and a lot of laughs throughout the tour. he was very knowledgeable and had a real passion. We sampled a varied range of beers - from pilsners to porters.

Had a break from skiing to visit the beer works. We were too late for the tour, starts at 2pm, so went straight to the tasting section. Beers explained by head Brewer. Got a discount on a six pack as had the tasting paddle. These beers are served in most pubs and restaurants in Wanaka so would recommend this early... More

My husband and I like our beer but were disappointed on arrival. The tasting was not in the brewery but in a cafe where the beer in the tasting platter was served in plastic cups. We were given a menu to follow and that was it.

We came into the brewery and had our beer tasting first. The beers were great and a refreshing difference to the run of the mill ones we had experienced prior. Once we finished that we made our way to the brewery your which was extremely in depth and really eye opening to see how everything is done in such a... More

This was our first ever brewery tour and was not disappointed. Love how small the brewery is, feel so much more involved and our tour guide knew everything as he personally is involved in the brewing. Great tasting set at the end too, even with cheese as well! A must in the small town of wanaka!

Maybe this place is ok if you do the tour but as a 'stop in to try some beers and hang out' venue it is all wrong. We just wanted to try some beers and then drink some beers but it felt all wrong surrounded by toys and kids. The beers were good but I think they've missed the point... More

Had the brewery tour which was informative and told us and showed how they produce then got some beer tasting afterwards. They have some great beers and even purchased. Recommend if in the area. tour is at 2pm so recommend getting there at least 15 mins before.

Informative and friendly and interesting. Currently only two beers available to taste but they were very nice (and I'm not really a beer drinker although finding craft beers more my style). Worth a visit and a taste, perhaps some to take home as well.

Dave the Belgian brewmaster is welcoming and knows his stuff. The beers are great (I actually smuggled a mix-six box in my luggage back into my present country. In addition to the wines we got from Rippon) We tried some of the Cardrona gold and another one- i forget the name - a pilsner, on premises and he explained about... More
