Lucky to spend the afternoon in the back seat of a citron, chauffeured by Julie as we ventured to cellar doors in the region. Learnt heaps, sampled and enjoyed. Central reisling grew on me....and the tannacrief tawny port from Cromwell...well...watch that space. Super day out. Thankyou

We had a fun afternoon with Julie as she took us to a number of wineries around the Wanaka/Cromwell area. She picked us up from right where we were staying and straight away we were having fun. Julie kept us well entertained with knowledge, stories and information about the area. We visited 3 wineries, the second of which we had... More

Had a blast riding with Julie in her Citroen as we explored area wineries. She took us on a half day trek to some of the areas more boutique operations. We had some very nice wines and great discussions with the owners - and, of course, picked up some bottles to bring with us as we traveled.

Julie has a great knowledge of the local region and winemaking in general. Her tour is punctuated with local history of the region. Coming from years of wine tasting in California, this is definitely a notch up! Such a fun way to experience the local region. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic day out with Julie in her funny French car. We chose the cheese and wine tour, visiting three completely different wineries. Julie was knowledgable, very friendly and courteous. I am very glad we chose this, more interesting tour than the boring bus guys.

We spent a very happy afternoon with Julie on the Boutique wine and cheese platter tour. Julie met us at our accommodation and off we went in the big old Citroen DS. The 3 vineyards we visited were very different, but all had a full range of interesting wines to taste. Needless to say, purchases were made at each stop... More

Julie and Dean were so relaxed and friendly driving us to the Cardrona Distillery and then Julie stayed with us extending our visit to the Cardrona hotel while we waited to fill in time. These little cars are so comfortable you can tell they are well loved by their owners and visitors alike. A great way to travel and still... More
