I was taking a hike from Bondi to Coogee on a hot summer day (101 degrees to be exact) Bronte was one of the small beaches on my way to Coogee. Cute but it was crowded at that time. I would not spend all day there. If you have been to Bondi, Coogee, Many, and Shelly you have covered that... More

We went to Bronte beach with friends for the supermoon. Didn't get into the beach but yeah the waves were challenging and the beach was well maintained. Good place to take a few pictures with the rocks as the background and way quieter than Bondi beach. We spend a good time at bronte and enjoyed the time we spend there.... More

We stumbled upon this park while getting lost on the way to Bondi. What a find.It had everything Bondi has and more (such as a playground and a covered picnic area). This beach was (on our visit) rougher than Bondi - bigger surf breaking right at the beach, which the kids loved. There is an enclosed sea pool at this... More

Bronte beach is so good. A wave to catch if you want or a gentle swim in the rock pool. So much fun. I love going for a swim at bronte.

I visited this beach with my friends. Lovely beach, plenty areas to eat. Weather was great so we had a great time. Lovely beach in Sydney. I do recommend it.

We spent a lot of our holiday on Bronte beach. It's such a great place to go. There's a lovely ice pool as well as the rock pools to swim. A lovely park for picnics & BBQ s . Also there is an excellent beach bar selling food & drinks. It's not so big as Bondi but even better.

Great rock pool. Bit more relaxed and low-key than Bondi. Not as many drunk backpackers and tourists as Coogee. Still gets busy on a hot day though.

We stopped here on a walk from Coogee to Bondi Beach, and made use of their free barbecues to grill lunch. (There are free barbecues in several parks in Australia, including Bronte and another park on the way to Bondi). You don't need charcoal or a lighter—just bring oil and tongs or something to cook with. Overall, a great afternoon!
